Lone Survivor is a gripping war drama based on the true story of a Navy SEAL mission gone tragically wrong. Directed by Peter Berg, the film follows Marcus Luttrell (played by Mark Wahlberg) and his team of SEALs as they carry out a covert operation in Afghanistan. When their cover is compromised, they end up surrounded by the enemy in unforgiving mountainous terrain.

The story centers on a team of Navy SEALs whose mission is to capture or eliminate a Taliban leader in the mountains of Afghanistan. However, the plan goes awry, and the soldiers are ambushed by a vastly superior enemy force. Despite their elite training and fierce determination, they find themselves outnumbered and outgunned. In the desperate struggle for survival, Luttrell is left as the sole survivor, facing enormous physical and emotional challenges in his battle to stay alive.
