Hero’s life changes unexpectedly when he is asked to replace a famous sertanejo singer named Sandro Sanderlei, who falls into a coma after an accident. Because Hero looks almost identical to Sandro, he agrees to impersonate him, mainly for financial reasons. Suddenly, Hero is thrown into a world of fame, luxury, and public attention that he never wanted but secretly longed for.

As Hero lives under Sandro’s identity, he must learn how to perform music he does not respect, interact with fans, and survive constant media pressure. At the same time, he grows closer to Lulli, Sandro’s former girlfriend, which creates emotional conflict and confusion. Hero begins to question whether success is worth sacrificing authenticity and whether he is losing himself by pretending to be someone else.

Throughout the film, Hero struggles with guilt, self-doubt, and the fear of being exposed. The contrast between his real personality and the artificial image he must maintain highlights the emptiness behind fame. Music plays a central role in expressing his inner conflict and emotional growth.

In the end, Zero to Hero delivers a message about self-acceptance and artistic integrity. It suggests that true success comes from embracing one’s own identity rather than living through someone else’s image, even when fame and recognition are within reach.
